The first thing you'll do when you arrive at Twenty nine Oaks Ranch is help to saddle and groom your mount. Horses work on relationship, so its important that you get to know each other and bond because you'll be spending several hours together. We'll head off onto the trail for the 11 mile trek through oak forests, dry river beds and wide prairie. The Baleen Wall is our destination, a rock formation visible due to a very ancient land slide that exposed the underlying rock in the shape of a whale. We'll have a picnic lunch which we provide, and let the horses rest, then head back to the barn by a loop trail. You'll have time to take pictures and perhaps to search for some rock samples. The entire round trip with lunch will be between 3 and 4 hours. On the way back, if time permits, we'll pass by Sulphur Springs and the Sheep Meadow to explore the rolling riparian land at the north end of this trail. We will begin at 9AM to avoid the heat, but this event can be arranged earlier or later as needed. Please message me about any special times or dates and we will be happy to accommodate you whenever possible.
Other things to note
Parking is off street and on my property. Although we have never had a problem with theft, it may be better to leave any unnecessary equipment at home. Sunscreen, layered dress, camera equipment. Event will cancel for rain and reschedule the following week.

$400/person includes picnic lunch on the trail and all equipment, horses, and guide.
